Bird Watching
Lowland forested park of 150sq km, Khao Nor Chuchi/Khao Pra-Bang Khram national park supports the most diverse remaining lowland bird fauna of any site so far known in Peninsular Thailand, with over 200 species of resident and migratory birds. Species includes a great many lowland specialists and other species which are scarce elsewhere: Malaysian Honeyguide, Crested Wood-Partridge, Crested Fireback, Jambu Fruit-Dove, Diard's Trogon, Red-crowned Barbet, Javan Frogmouth, Black-throated Babbler, Ferruginous Babbler, Large Wren-Babbler, Rufous-crowned Babbler, Striped Wren-Babbler and Chestnut-rumped babbler . This national park is the only site known to support a potentially viable population of Gurney's Pitta , with 8-12 probable territories so far located. Hooded Pitta, Giant Pitta and Banded Pitta also present.

Fishing
Big game fishing is another popular activity in Krabi. Our Reception will suggest you who know the best places to find the fish: a catch is so assured, that the companies even advertise their tours as ‘No Fish, No Pay!’. Day excursions are the norm, but you can also charter a boat to go out before dawn, or at night. Of course, you can keep whatever you catch and our Frittomisto restaurant will be happy to grill your fresh barracuda, or giant white snapper for free.

Golf
can be played on Krabi’s single course, the Pakasai Country Club, located around 30 km. from the Emerald Garden Resort and 11 km. from the Krabi airport, in Neua Klong District. Our Resort offer golf package tours, often with a stop off at other places of interest, or the driving range in Krabi Town along the way. With green and caddy fees, a round here comes to about 1.200 Baht - including equipment hire. For serious golfers, the world-class greens of Phuket are a short, two-hour drive away.

Rock Climbing
Apart from marine sports, Krabi is also an ideal place for rock climbing. Lines of sheer limestone cliffs along Tham Phranang and Rai Le beaches have challenged thousands of climbers from all over the world every year. The levels of difficulty of the various routes vary, so even the most inexperienced climbers can experiment. Equipment, instruction and guides are available at most lodgings.

Scuba Diving or Snorkeling
Like Phang-nga, Krabi offers a great opportunity for diving due to its numerous natural marine resources including over a hundred offshore islands. Dive shops around Rai Le and Ao Nang provide dive trips as well as rent diving and snorkeling gear such as mask/snorkel/fin at the rate of 150 baht/ set/ day (with a deposit of 500 baht). The advantage of diving from Ao Nang is the nearby sites in the Poda Island group, where water visibility is better than that of the mainland, but not as good as Phi Phi. There are 15 dive sites off of Ao Nang, all reachable with a 20 to 60-minute boat ride. For experienced divers there is a 50-meter long cave at 5-12 meters depth at Yawabon Island behind Poda. The water visibility is at its best from November to April. Some Ao Nang dive shops close during low season, May to October, while some (Ao Nang Divers for instance) remain open all year long. Two local dives in the Poda/Yawasam group cost approximately 1,900 baht. Four-day PADI open water courses have risen to 10,000 baht. Unlike Phi Phi, scuba dive operators in Ao Nang close from May to October.

Canoeing or Kayaking
Canoeing and kayaking are two ways to enjoy the spectacular seascape, limestone cliffs and caves in Krabi's waters as these sports allow visitors to explore hidden offshore areas at a more leisurely pace. Canoeing and kayaking operators are available at Ao Nang.

Thai Boxing (Muay Thai)
Thai Boxing At Koh Lanta Mini Stadium, there was arranged for real Thai boxing sport almost every week. If you are the one who interest the art Thai boxing, you can visit the stadium during you stay. Yes, it is not big match as in Bangkok but it is the real Thai Boxing.
